Bacon Jalapeno Popper Crescent Rolls

I’m a big fan of bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers.   Let’s face it…I’m actually a big fan of bacon wrapped anything!  Anyways, the idea behind the bacon wrapped jalapeno popper is to stuff the jalapeno with cream cheese and then wrap it in bacon.  The cream cheese and the bacon cut the heat of the jalapeno.  I like to leave a little bit of the seeds and ribs in the jalapeno to add a little extra heat because by the time you bake it, the heat is mild.

The other day I made bacon jalapeno popper crescent rolls.  I just mixed the normal ingredients for my bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers and spread it in a crescent roll, baked it and voila…instant appetizer!   Super simple.  And for these, I took the seeds and ribs out so that my tiny humans could consume.

Start by frying cut up bacon in a frying pan until crispy.

In a medium bowl, mix bacon and cream cheese.

Spread on a crescent roll.  Top with diced jalapenos.

Roll up.

Bake at 375 for about 12 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.

Serve and enjoy!

1/2 cup cream cheese
4 strips bacon, diced
1-2 medium jalapenos, seeded and diced
1 can crescent rolls

In a frying pan, cook bacon until crispy.  Mix together with cream cheese.  Spread cream cheese on crescent roll and top with diced jalapeno.  Roll up.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.

Serve and enjoy!
