Soy – Glazed Salmon

I think salmon has always been my favorite fish.  I normally love eating it raw in the sushi form, but have been trying to cook it more for the family.  So after I did my blog on the salmon packets, the Smokin’ Coastie himself (shoutout to Ron Owens) commented that I should try with brown sugar and soy sauce.  And because everything he makes looks amazing and delicious, I had to try it the other night for dinner!  It was amazing…even KB loved it!  And he doesn’t normally “love” fish!

This recipe is so simple and it tastes delicious!

Start with some salmon filets.


Sprinkle with salt, pepper, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil and soy sauce.


Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes





3 salmon filets
salt and pepper to taste
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 Tablespoon mirin
1/3 cup soy sauce

Lay salmon filets in a pan.  Sprinkle with salt, pepper, brown sugar, sesame oil, mirin, and soy sauce.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.  Enjoy!
