Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip

Two of my favorite things.  Cheese and Bacon.  Bacon and Cheese.  Combine it in a dip, bake it in the oven and you will be in heaven!  Maybe it’s a little decadent.  Maybe it’s a splurge.  But honestly, there’s nothing better than a little indulgence every once in a while.  And if you don’t eat the whole thing, it won’t be too bad for you!   I made this for an appetizer on Thanksgiving and let’s just say there weren’t the normal Thanksgiving leftovers.

Start by crisping your bacon.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions and shredded cheddar cheese.

Add bacon.

Spread into a baking dish.  Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Serve with crackers or bread and enjoy!

8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
5 green onions diced
6 strips of bacon, diced

Crisp bacon in a medium frying pan.  In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese and green onions.  Add bacon.  Spread into a baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.  Serve with crackers or bread.
